Internship Entry 1 — March 9

I got to the studio at around 8am and met one of the other interns, Amy. It was just us until 10am. We cleaned up some of the rooms, dusted the mixing board, and gathered all of the loose cables from the live room into the bins in the hallway. When engineer Matt Weber arrived at 10, we prepared the live room for that day’s drum recording, including but not limited to taking apart the drum kit to be moved into an adjacent, vacuuming the drum rugs, and taking some of the acoustic treatment off the walls.
